I feel like it has been forever, but the Man Friend has only been gone 1 week, but it seems like forever. I am so glad that he has been able to spend time with his 2 sons and their families.
I can't wait until March/April then maybe I can go and see his kids.
We have had some fun times while he was away, but he has been greatly missed.
My son and I went with Grandma Marie and Colette to the Draper Temple Open House on Valentines.
Even though I have never had a good Valentine's I think this was probably the best. Being in the House of the Lord and with the FAMILY that I SO dearly love was the best. It could have been one step closer if my dad and Man Friend had been able to be with us.
I am still trying to deal with the fact that my dad is gone. I know it has been much harder than I ever imagined. It has been doubly hard to see my mother so lonely.
Watching my mom is like seeing my Grandma Killpack all over again. She walks like her ,she talks like her, and even does things like her now.
I soooo need to start taking more pictures. LOL
We have a new movie at our house: Madagascar 2 Check this movie out Look at Melman and Gloria. It is soo cute. The song that Motto Motto sings is my favorite. You will have to watch the show to find that out. LOL
We also have Space Buddies. What a darling show. Okay yes, we are into kids shows. Dalton and I love them.
Any book by Max Lucado you have to read. When you read them think of the LDS gospel standards and you will so do an FHE lesson on them. We love those books.
Any suggestions on how to raise a son??? Not sure I am doing that great, but I am trying.
I have found FACEBOOK!!!!! Ok. let me say finding my old students has made my week. I so want to spend time getting to know them all over again. I miss them tons. It is funny how some connections you make you never want to let go of.
I do remember a lot of my old students.
I know a memory is good , can be bad when you remember the bad to, but in general it is good to have such a good memory of faces and names.
Well I will see about taking some pictures and doing more on this here blog. LOL
